Welcome from Pastor Michael
Hello, and welcome to Immanuel! I know that going to a new church for the first time can be intimidating, but I want you to know that you are welcome here. No matter where you are in your faith journey, you'll find a home at Immanuel.

What to Expect on Sunday Morning
Where do I park?
Our main parking lot is on Nevada Street. If that lot is full, feel free to use any of the street parking around our building.
Where do I enter the building?
From the parking lot: You can enter through either of the metal gates leading from the parking lot to our campus.

If you enter from the gate closest to Nevada Street, walk through the courtyard until you reach the end, then make a left to head into our Sanctuary.
If you enter from the gate towards the back of the parking lot, walk until you reach a door, then make a left. Continue heading through the courtyard until you reach the end, then make a left to head into the Sanctuary.
From Kelly Street: Enter through the metal gates from the sidewalk, then make an immediate right to head into our Sanctuary.
What should I wear?
We have people wearing everything from shorts, t-shirts, and flip-flops to suits and ties — so no matter what you wear, you'll fit right in!
What happens when I arrive?
An usher will greet you at the door to welcome you. They can assist you in finding a seat and answering any questions.

You can sit anywhere you like — there's no assigned seats! We start at 9:30 am, but if you arrive before then, you can settle in, find a seat, and chat with others if you'd like.
What can I expect during the worship service?
Worship is about an hour long. If you need it, nursery care is available all morning for children under 3.

Our service is based upon God's Word, so Bible verses are woven throughout the different elements of worship. We sing a mix of traditional and modern songs, and we take time to pause before God in prayer to share what's on our hearts and minds. Pastor Michael will share a message straight from Scripture about what Jesus has done, is doing, and will do in the lives of His people.
During the last song of the service, children of all ages can come up front to sing and play instruments!

We have the Communion on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month. We have non-alcoholic white grape juice available, as well as gluten-free wafers. If you're not sure if you should take communion, please talk to Pastor Michael before the service.
What happens after worship is over?
You are welcome to join us for snacks and coffee after worship in our courtyard and fellowship hall. (Just follow the crowd!)

At 11 am, we have a Bible class hour with classes for every age!​ Nursery care is available for children under 3.

How can I get connected?
Talk to Pastor Michael after the service! He typically stands outside the Sanctuary door to greet everyone as they exit. He'd love to talk to you about next steps!
